What is TelcoVillage®?

TelcoVillage® is a global meet-me platform for telecoms which is carrier-neutral. But it's also much more than that: It's a commission-free, web trading portal combined with a carrier-grade technical backend. By simply registering, its members are enabled to start global business instantly, to make deals and to interconnect physically at one of our worldwide POPs.

How does TelcoVillage® work?

Registered members of TelcoVillage® get in touch with other members in order to find potential business opportunities in the Marketplace area on www.telcovillage.com.

Once the members of TelcoVillage® have decided to build up a business relationship, the only step they then need to take is to establish at least one physical interconnect using the Connectivity Center.

TelcoVillage® uses Realtime Dynamic Interconnection (RDI) to enable its members to use their connected capacity in the highest possible grade of efficiency. Inside the TelcoVillage®, platform carriers and operators do not need any more to attach capacity to one particular interconnect partner; as a result they do not waste that capacity during the time they are not using it.

TelcoVillage not only reduces the operational costs but also offers new business opportunities in one platform.

What makes the difference between TelcoVillage® and conventional meet-me-rooms?

TelcoVillage® is completely different to other meet-me-rooms because it features trading system and physical connection in one platform.

How do I become a member of TelcoVillage®?

1. Register here and establish your company profile. It's free.
2. Get in touch with other members, find potential business opportunities and close deals in the Marketplace area
3. Request for a quote to establish at least one physical interconnect to TelcoVillage® using the Connectivity Center

What does TelcoVillage® cost?

Becoming a member of the TelcoVillage® platform is free. Simply sign up here and get in tough with other members. As soon as you have found business opportunities you will need to connect physically at one of 40 locations worldwide beginning from one E1 for a monthly flat fee. Pricing starts from EUR 99.00 flat per month per E1 dedicated private bandwidth.

What is the contract duration for the capacity?

The minimum runtime is one month.

We are a European operator and want to interconnect to an Asian partner. Do we need to order own leased lines from Europe to Asia?

No. Instead of ordering long-term, leased lines from one continent to another, TelcoVillage® members can interconnect at their local hub, beginning from 1 E1 in order to reach all connected TelcoVillage® members instantly ­- no matter where they are located.

Can we change the interconnect partner?

Each E1 which is connected to TelcoVillage® has access to all members at all times by using RDI (see also second question).

We only use VoIP. Can we connect to TelcoVillage® anyway?

It does not make any difference if you use VoIP or TDM. We support all protocols and we care for the conversion or transcoding.

Are there any minute fees?

No.

How long does it take to establish an interconnect to another TelcoVillage® member?

Once a member has connectivity to TelcoVillage® establishing an interconnect is carried out instantly.
